Visit of the Cultures Encounter Delegation to the Human Rights Directorate

A delegation from the Center for Cultures Encounter for Dialogue and Democracy visited the

Human Rights Directorate, where they were received by Colonel Khalil Al-Husseini, Director of

the Directorate, in a dialogue meeting that discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation,

particularly in promoting a culture of human rights and disseminating community and

humanitarian awareness.

The visit was directed and followed up by Sheikh Mohsin Ukla Al-Aboudi, President of the

Center, as part of the Center's policy to strengthen partnerships with active national

institutions that serve the community and enhance societal peace. For his part, Colonel Khalil

Al-Husseini welcomed the delegation, affirming the Directorate's keenness to support

initiatives that enhance awareness of human rights and societal responsibility.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Center's delegation honored Colonel Khalil Al-Husseini

with an appreciation shield in recognition of his role and efforts in supporting humanitarian

initiatives, as part of the Center's series of initiatives to promote dialogue and community

partnership in Iraq.
