President of the Center for Cultures Encounter for Dialogue and Democracy Visits the

Ministry of Culture

The President of the Center for Cultures Encounter for Dialogue and Democracy visited the

Ministry of Culture, where he met with His Excellency Dr. Fadhil Al-Badrani, Deputy Minister

of Culture. During the meeting, the reality of cultural work in Iraq was discussed, along with

the importance of activating the role of cultural and community institutions in entrenching a

culture of dialogue, promoting peaceful coexistence, and spreading intellectual awareness

among various segments of society. The President of the Center also reviewed the role of the

Center for Cultures Encounter for Dialogue and Democracy in organizing seminars, dialogue

sessions, and cultural events, and its continuous endeavor to build bridges of communication

between intellectual and cultural elites and official institutions, contributing to supporting

societal stability and building an inclusive cultural discourse. For his part, Dr. Fadhil AlBadrani valued the Center's efforts and activities, emphasizing the importance of

cooperation with independent cultural centers that contribute to enhancing the cultural and

intellectual landscape in the country.
