Visit of the President of the Center for Cultures Encounter for Dialogue and Democracy

to the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia in Iraq

The President of the Center for Cultures Encounter for Dialogue and Democracy,

Sheikh Mohsin Ukla Al-Aboudi, visited the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of

Somalia in Iraq to enhance cultural and intellectual relations between Iraq and African

nations. The two sides discussed ways of cooperation in supporting cultural and

intellectual initiatives to spread the values of tolerance, understanding, and peace

among peoples, and the possibility of implementing joint programs in educational and

community fields. The Somali Ambassador praised the Center's role in spreading a

culture of dialogue and affirmed his embassy's readiness for joint cooperation. Sheikh

Mohsin Al-Aboudi expressed his thanks to the Ambassador, emphasizing the Center's

keenness to continue cooperation with Somalia and friendly countries to serve

cultural and community development goals.
