Sheikh Mohsin Ukla Al-Aboudi Meets with the Advisor to the Minister of Defense

for Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Nadhim Al-Khuzali

Within the efforts of the Center for Cultures Encounter for Dialogue and Democracy to

expand communication with official institutions, Sheikh Mohsin Ukla Al-Aboudi, President

of the Center, met with Mr. Nadhim Al-Khuzali, Advisor to the Minister of Defense for

Parliamentary Affairs. The meeting addressed a number of issues related to national

affairs, particularly the importance of supporting stability and enhancing the role of

institutions in protecting societal peace, in addition to reviewing the Center's

contributions in the field of community dialogue and building trust among various

parties. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of integrating intellectual and

institutional efforts in facing challenges and entrenching the principles of national

understanding, which contributes to serving the public interest and enhancing the

security of society. At the conclusion of the meeting, the importance of maintaining

channels of communication and coordination was affirmed, in order to support paths of

joint national action and serve the nation and the citizen.
