Sheikh Mohsen Akla Al-Aboudi, President of the Multaqa of Cultures for Dialogue

and Democracy, visited the Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of

Algeria in Baghdad to discuss avenues of mutual cooperation and strengthen

.cultural and intellectual relations between the two sides

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on a number of issues of common

interest and emphasized the importance of dialogue and mutual understanding

among peoples. They also discussed opportunities for cooperation in cultural and

.community fields that contribute to strengthening friendship and closer relations

The Ambassador welcomed the visit and praised the role of the Multaqa of Cultures

for Dialogue and Democracy in promoting a culture of dialogue, coexistence, and

.constructive communication among the various components of society
